Honestlly, AoD deserved a "remake" not aa remaster and I would had prefered a level editor within 4-5 remaster .. lets hope 4-5 comes with level editor
Modern controls will be present.
The textures will definitely be improved (Lara's model looks very similar to the one from the secret FMV of Tomb Raider Chronicles).
They will certainly fix the most serious bugs and perhaps restore some cutscenes (for example the one with the shaman who saves Lara's life).
Remaster dont change gameplay, you have improved graphics and at best some quality of life features, remake do change more changing gameplay, lvl design, etc, like what Anniversary is to Tomb Raider 1 (TR Anniversary is a remake of TR1, nota remaster).
AoD is not fixed by just quality of life improvements.
Have a nice day, soon I will get some some other emote with it
But still i have hope they fix a lot of problems , especilly with controls on PC.
Fans have already got that working.
The Dual Pistols even exist in AOD, they just aren't available without cheats/hacking the game.
Considering how we had a cut cutscene and a cut final boss track restored for TR3, remaster, I'd be surprised.
The achievement list also confirms the Herbalist now sells Lara the Antidote item (a cut feature) and weapon attachments will be present, so it's clear AOD is getting some stuff restored.
That said I'm assuming this is *all* we're getting restored, minor features that don't require heavily reworking the game.
