Ladder with the Minotaur

Even when I climb up the side, without using my feet, I still get knocked off when he slams the ground. Every guide I found says this is how to do it, and this is how I did it when I played the original, but it's not working now.

Any ideas?

And now I'm thinking they might have fixed that thus making you actually have to lock the Minotaur on the chamber instead of taking the easy route.

Climbing the ladder and "ignoring" the minotaur was a bug in the original game.
The remaster has fixed that so you now have to do the puzzle as intended.. or find another work around like killing it with the bike.. and yes that is possible lol

You need to lock minotaur inside building then you can climb the ladder.

You can always just kill the minotaur by leading him to the entrance of "Trenches" and hitting him with your bike. That's what I always do, much easier than locking him in the room.

this is what i ended up doing, didnt have the patience to trap him, ran his ass over instead :D

Never knew you could kill the damned thing lol. Thanks community. But anyway this small exploit I have no problem with being fixed because you could discover it accidentaly but I hate that they fixed the flare wall glitch which requires a bizarre algotithm of movement to pull off
