Key aspect of game doesn't work when using Synergy to share mouse from another computer

I use Synergy to share my mouse and keyboard from another computer. I just bought and installed the game, but I couldn't actually choose a path/level with my mouse. All other aspects/buttons of the UI worked fine with the mouse. When I plugged the mouse directly into my PC, and hovered over the level selection options when choosing a path, it worked. I'm not sure what this game is doing specifically with that UI element to make it not work with Synergy, but it doesn't work. Requested a refund.

I'm sorry, I've never used synergy I can't tell how it works. Sounds like a weird behavior of the engine and how it detects hovering, the map part is different than other UI because you're hovering 3D elements, that might be the cause
