i feel like the boss should just out right kill you if there are any enemies left i mean its a boss battle it should have a sense of emergency and challenge. if its going to be like any other battle in the game then whats the point of calling it a boss? other than a "wall" theres no difference between the boss and regular combat. thats why i think some are saying its easy. if you enter in at full or close to full health you cant win barely paying attention if you're not intentionally throwing the run
We did try that in the past, but it didn't go well unfortunately, that was insanely frustrating to lose the run despite still having enough HP left, so we stuck to the definition that you lose when your defence is down to zero (let's say the enemy is running you over). Bosses in Drop Duchy bring additional twists that make them much more challenging than playing a regular round on a normal grid (you'll soon discover what the other two bosses are!)
