Feature Request: stop controller's D-pad auto repeat

Generally speaking, automatic repeated inputs on the D-pad should have a short delay after holding before they start. Alternatively, the left analog stick could be used to handle the movement with automatic repeating functionality instead.

In short, when I play this game with my controller right now, I often get one extra movement input just from holding the button a little bit too long.
