Highway maps?

I want to do some intercity routes with very long highways. is there anything good?

Not that I knew "intercity" or "very long highways", but some maps like the Rheinhausen DLC or Krefrath mod maps at least offer interurbans with some section of motorway.
Also the free French one comes into mind, but I don't remember the name because unfortunately the timetables were not written for MAN NL202 but for Ferrari F40.

Gladbeck has quite a few.
More than 500km of accessible route
Express lines
Parts of the route include the Autobahn.

It’s pretty monstrous.

I have both. Express 91.08 has some highways but Rheinhausen has only 1km of a highway. 1km just isnt enough to enjoy an intercity bus. Thanks for the recommendations though.

I have been looking at gladbeck for a while but I dont have 30 bucks to drop on gladbeck. I have heard it has a highway but DAMN! 500 KM OF THE AUTOBAHN!? THATS INSANE!

Do you have any mods in mind though? I have found the Chistogorsk map which has a highway thats the best I found. Also heard about autobahnmap but it just doesnt work. I am trying to make my own map which is just a looped highway with some visitable cities. So far i made the looped highway and put some Chicago traffic on it as well as one bus terminal. The most intercity feel is present in Euro Truck Simulator 2 but bus mods are kinda janky and there arent any passengers. If only there was something like that in OMSI that would be great.

Do you drive Express 91.08? If so, how do you actually manage to keep the schedule? I drive like a maniac and will end with double digit delay minutes The map is great I just am not willing to rewrite the schedules.

It's on sale here[www.fanatical.com] It's where i bought it. It's like way,way better than people make out. Sure the roads in the cities etc are tight but i've yet to find a map outside London Rheinhausen for eg that don't have buses clipping kerbs, and so on even Hokenkerschen.

Very surprised.

I don't use many mods so as to not srcew up the base game!

Chicago DLC has a long freeway from the station to the Planetarium

9 miles bus routes with 60 stops, 11 miles additional roadway

I know about chicago because I have it. But the thing is that its still not the intercity feel that im looking for. As for gladbeck I will check this out later. thanks.
