Pedals work in config but not in game.

Microsoft steering wheel, when in the config screen the pedals work fine and you can assign functions to them.

However as soon as you start the game, all the buttons work, the steering works but the pedals do nothing.

I used to have the same issue with my fanatec wheel and pedals... I got around it by copying over gamectrler.cfg file from OMSI 1 Inputs folder. In case you don't have OMSI 1, try creating a blank gamectrler.cfg file in the OMSI 2 Inputs folder and re-configure the wheel. (Just to be safe, back up your current gamectrler.cfg file)

Just a guess, but for G27 wheels, make sure the combined pedals setting is off. I don't know if the same goes for a Microsoft steering wheel, but it's worth a shot...

I had the same problem, found out it was because i had used an Xbox controller first, so my pedals would only work in combined mode, but i dont like that because of other games, I opened gamectrler.cfg deleted the Xbox section, and it all worked with normal pedals

try to untick the active button on every controller installed into omsi, except for the one you want to use leave that one active, worked for me :D

My OMSI 2 cannot see my steering wheel on the left option by Game Controllers. Does anybody know what i can do i cannot find anything on internet.

I have the same problem with my Logitech G29 wheel, it only works in Configuration Mode, but not in game,,,, :-(

Select "controller" from the ALT key options menu

Download logitech gaming software, then click on the pedals ( Double click ) and click combine pedals

One thing I found out is that omsi will not work well with more than one controller. I have a g27 and had two other controllers working and the wheel and pedals had problem. Once I turned all other controllers off the wheel worked fine.

Press K when in the bus. It will switch from Keyboard mode into Gamepad/Wheel Mode. Or you can press the Keyboard/Gamepad/Wheel icon in the right corner to switch.
