OMSI 2

Why is this game so expensive?
I really wanna buy this game, but 31€ + DLC's? It's too much. At least for me.

because it's fun and amazing

You only pay once. If you take a look online you will see there are thousands of free buses, maps and so on. You don't have to pay for the DLC's.

I mean you should look at some third party content websites such as:
http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/category/59-omsi-addons
http://www.omnibussimulator.de/forum/index.php?page=Board&boardID=26&s=ce273bf255c3dc02b887afeb84b857c952274f60 (German)
And this Youtube channel:

You can see that there are loads of addons for free. Thats whats great about OMSI compared to Train Simulator for example.
Also the Christmas sales are comming soon, you could wait and see if gets reduced. It didn't last year.

I dont have the game, but looking at the amount of amazing mods I wouldnt buy the DLC's.

Yeah, OMSI is definatly a win there, since it's faaaar more simpler to actually make a Bus for OMSI, then it is to make a train for Train Simulator. Dosn't help either, that Train Simulator is badly documented in adition to that.

Hello fellow ETS player!
Not sure about that, I think , as you mentioned the documentation is better. In TS15 people who work it out feel they can charge for it as everyone else is. I would describe the OMSI community as friendly while the TS15 one as stingy.

Not sure if i would call the TS15 comunity stinky. In fact, i meet a lot nice people in the german TS15 comunity, but a lot of... extremly unplessent people in the Omsi community.

Either way, it is indeed much easier to make a good Bus for OMSI, one that is very true to the real thing.

In TS15 you need months to script a engine to be like the real thing. And you have to test and play around a lot. Another issue is: Some things you can't even do in TS15, because of the very limited script posibilitys.

Because it's cool!

3rd party content (from the known developers) for train simulator is mostly 150% better/ advanced as RSC/dtg standard content..that''s a given fact. If RSC / dtg releases a more advanced train, it is sure that the content was ceated by someone else :)

Be it scenario packages, (new or advanced) trains, wagons, routes... there is much more detail in 3rd party content... but it is true .... even some folks with less skill try to make money with TS .... I don't call names here but I guess the TS community and most players know "the special dev." .... nobody is forced to buy their crap.... but back to topic

OMSI is a fantastic simulator....it does have simply everything a bus sim needs to have concerning features and even more......

BUT the bugs ......the bugs (game engine) just sucks!! .....in my case even 3rd party software/ patch was necessary to make this piece of crap software playable on a fast machine

gameplay is totally awesome and can't be better (imo).
The game has issues, but in this genre (bus/simulator),..and if the sim runs on your pc, OMSI is the best you can get.

I said stingy! You have to willing to pay if you want the best simulator experience in TS15 while in OMSI you can get a good experience for less. That said I have not seen this game on sale and TS15 is often on sale for less than £5

Oh yes, sorry. xD

Well, it's highly doubfull that OMSI2 will ever go on sale: Aerosoft is greedy, and so is the devs of OMSI2.

I personaly even didn't pay my OMSI2 copy yet. I did order the physical medium from Aerosoft. But refuse to pay as long as OMSI2 remains a bug and crash fest.
