If you have the steam version:
1. check whether the DLC is enabled or not. To do that, go to your steam library, right click on OMSI 2 and select Properties. In the OMSI 2 - Properties window go to the DLC tab and make sure your DLC is checked.
2. if that didn't work, try to repair OMSI. To do that go back to the OMSI 2- Properties window and click "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE" note that this will undo any modifications to all OMSI 2 files. You probably want to back up at least your keybindings and controller settings. To do that simply backup the ... /OMSI 2/Inputs folder.
For non-steam version of addon:
1. Make sure the addon is activated in Aerosoft Launcher. Your addon should be listed in the Home/Simulation category in the launcher, listed as either OMSI 2 - Drei Generationen or the English equivalent. Click on the addon name and at the bottom of the page there should be a green check mark and "Activation state: Product activated". If not, click on the Activate button and follow the instructions.
2. Reinstalling the addon with the Installer provided by Aerosoft should fix corrupted file issues. You might want to re-download the Installer to make sure it's not the source of the fault.
In both cases the addon should be listed as activated in OMSI 2, in the Options menu, Addons tab. If that's not the case you might want to ask for support on the official OMSI 2 forums[www.omnibussimulator.de] or ask for support from whomever you purchased from (Aerosoft or Steam).
Maybe someone else can help you more, I was rather lucky so far with OMSI addons, everything working out of the box. Also, no need for gifts, I am happy if I can be of help! :)
Also also, a reminder: if you manage to solve your problem, it is courteous to write back with your solution. This way you can help others dealing with similar problems, should they find this thread.
Either way, a clean install of OMSI 2 might help. For that, go to Steam Library, right click OMSI2, go to the Local Files tab. First click "Browse local files", that will open your OMSI 2 folder. Back in the "OMSI 2 - Properties" window in Steam, click on the "Delete local game content". Now delete the OMSI 2 folder. Once done, reinstall OMSI 2. If you have the Aerosoft version of the addon, reinstall that too (the steam version installs automatically).
- buses of the Three Generations addon appear invisible ingame
- in Steam in the "OMSI 2 - Properties" window DLC tab, the addon has the install box ticked, and the state is "installed"
- in OMSI 2, in the Options menu, Addons tab the Three Generation addon is listed as "not installed" or not listed at all
- you tried a clean install of OMSI 2, deleting the OMSI 2 folder beforehand
If that is the case, I'm out of ideas. You should contact Aerosoft. support@aerosoft.de is their support address listed. Here's the official OMSI 2 Steam support page. Here's a link to the official OMSI forums[www.omnibussimulator.de], there might be more knowledgeable people there.
I'm sorry I couldn't help :(
