OMSI 2
Does anyone know what a CFF Explorer does please?
Hi Guys.
Since the update 2.2.013 I have had problems with the Hertfordshire Map, I cannot spawn into Stevenage, it's just a big white sky and nothing else, OMSI Staff have told me to download this CFF Explorer, I know nothing about it, is it safe and does anyone have it and used it please? I am a little wary about it currently, can anyone give me assurance that it is fine?
Thankyou Guys.

(FIXED) !!

It's safe and you MUST have it, if you want to play OMSI/OMSI 2. CFF allows game to use 4GB of memory instead of 2GB. It's very easy in use and makes the difference...

Thanks dj_ogi. :)
I have downloaded the CFF Explorer and it did everything I should do but it wont overwrite itself

You have to overwrite omsi.exe file otherwise it will not work. You can make a backup copy of the original file before that.
How please? I did everything that was needed, isn't it supposed to overwrite omsi.exe file itself?

Yes, CFF should ask about overwrite the file. You only have to confirm and that's all.
I did, I clicked yes and nothing else happened, and when I clicked close, I got cff file explorer stopped working, any ideas please?

:rfacepalm: ...and it's ok. You have to use CFF only once to change the .exe file. Nothing will happend after. There are no fireworks or fanfares after overwrite ;) You don't have to run CFF every time you want to play OMSI either. Only when you (or Steam) change the .exe to the original state, for example after file verification or update.
Well, it is still the same at Stevenage, map of nothingness, I really don't know what to do now, I even did a complete uninstall and reinstall yesterday to no avail. :(

Maybe the problem is in something else? Open that map in editor and save it. If editor ask about convert map to OMSI 2, just apply.
The CFF Explorer didn't overwrite, that is what I am trying to say, that's why nothing happened and when I cicked close on CFF Explorer, that's when I got CFF Explorer stopped working and that's why my map at stevenage is still Blank with the exception of a little bit of scenery, I can start at Welwyn, which is halfway and I can start at Hatfield, which is at the other end of the map, but !! just not Stevenage ! Does that help you at all please? Where do I find Editor please?

To open OMSI 2 editor:
1. Create a normal shortcut to OMSI 2 on your desktop
2. Open properties of it - make sure it's open on second tab named shortcut
3. Edit third line (first which can be edited) adding at the end after space:
"-editor"
4. Apply and run editor from that shortcut
5. In editor open map from file named global in the map folder - every map have its own "global" file so make sure which map you're trying to load

About CFF:
I understand that "CFF Explorer stopped working" means windows message, am I right?
Yes your right, it was a window message.
