OMSI 2
OMSI 2 vs Lotus & DCS comparison
Hello, I'm new to this game and really if makes me feel it is like DCS but for buses...
I also have the feeling OMSI 2 is better regerding to content, am I correct ? I had a look at Lotus but I don't feel any incentive to switch to it in fact. What do u think ?

OMSI is the king of its genre, like ZUSI 3 in TrainSIM's. For me, comparing omsi with DCS is very difficult, as a fan of this trio ))
..And yes, you will have to spend money in OMSI, *the game will sparkle with different colors.
Regarding LOTUS, the development is very, very slow. They changed the game engine a few months ago. I'm not sure about them ((
I don't remember when I bought Lotus and all the DLC, several years, there is no update.

First of DLC what U should buy (imho) this is "The Bus Company Simulator"
2) ..And all DLC from this guy > "Darius Bode" especially "Hamburg" and "Three Generations"
3) DLC of > Berlin X10 [must have]
4) DLC Enhanced Environment Pack

others..
Don't miss "4GB Patch" to use.

Well, I can see from SteamDB that there are 15x more players playing omsi 2 vs lotus

There's a lot of DLC for OMSI, but also a ton of high-quality free content. The only DLC I would strongly recommend purchasing is "Citybus O305," as it comes with a manual gearbox script that other bus mods use. Once you've played the game more and decided whether you like it or not, you can purchase more.

For free content, I recommend checking out OMSI Webdisk. (Try the Tettau, Krefrath, Krummenaab maps and the MB O307 bus!)
Some DLC I reccommend:
- Add-on Hamburg Day & Night
- IVECO BUS Family Low Entry Buses
- MAN Stadtbus New Lion's City
- MAN Citybus Series
- MAN Standardbus II
- Add-on Citybus o530
- Citybus i260 Series, LIKINO-677, Coachbus 256 and Coachbus 250 (if you like Warsaw Pact/Eastern/Communist buses)
- Rheinhausen
- Hohenkirchen
- Berlin X10

And like that wise man said, don't forget the 4GB Patch.
