This game has a pneumatic braking system simulation. Maybe you should wait 5 minutes to air is pumped into the system.

Maybe you didnt take off the stop break? try pressing - (minus on num pad) to toggle the stop break

Follow these steps and the bus should move (applies to default buses):

1. Turn on electricity (key: E)
2. Turn on engine (key: M)
3. Wait for red light to go off - usually takes 2-3 minutes
4. Press (key: D) key to put the bus in gear
5. Release the handbrake (key: .)

Also ensure you have the correct game contoller selected (keyboard, mouse or wheel).

Have you tried to press brake before pressing 'D'? Maybe 'D' was not set properly.

If your driving a Articulaited bus(MAN NL-NG202) you need to throttle and then break 2 times BEFORE pressing drive("D"). then you can move the bus. Hopefully that helped:D

Is the door release switch on ? The bus wont move if it is.
Close the Doors with / and * then press - to release the door breaks

Which red light are you talking about?

How is it a problem with the game ? If it was a game problem then none of us would get the bus to move.

Have you tried to add any 3rd Party mods.. I installed one that rendered some buses not operable. One even messed with the AI bus logic.. would have standing buses right in the middle of the road.

If not.. well I do not know what to tell you .. as I've not run into this issue in a Vanilla installation.

I would imagine the Air Low Warning light. Looks like a set of lines that go from horizontal to vertical. In the really old Man buses there was no light, it was a bar that stood vertical attached to the front of the bus.. when the air tank would fill the bar would move down out of sight and lay horizontal.

If you have a wheel then you have to choose a wheel mode from alt > press that thing wheres keyboards etc and choose the wheel mode there.
