help with Omsi 2 addons

hi all im after some advice with Omsi 2 addons chicago & Hamburg & Vienna & City Bus 0305 which i bought via steam, i have installed them but when i load omsi 2 i get a error, and when i check omsi 2 settings under addon it states my addons are not activated,
I have read on this form that i need to verify intergrity of game cahe which i have done bet still i cant play my game with these addons installed i am out of ideas of what i have to do, i have searched the net but still have the addons not activated any help would be great in me sorting this issue out many thanks

I have this problem with Hamburg. its activated but i don't see the treet and objects

tbh ive been trying to get these addons to work for a few months and still nothing ive been working on a map for a few months aswell i loaded kreuz in sceneryobjects and i lost my map and now have to start again all this because these addons wont activated,

I have Chicago, Three Gen and Citybus o305 and with the Chicago bus files it took a few hours to activate, Verifying the intergrity of your cache speeds it up but to activate it instantly completely uninstall omsi 2 using the Steam uninstaller then go to the OMSI 2 folder (C/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/) and then delete the OMSI 2 folder. Then simply go back to your steam library to download OMSI 2 again. Hope this helped as it did for activating my Chicago bus addon even though the other addons activated instantly.

hi phill thanks for the info i did what u said but still get the error and my addons are still not activated, really not sure what else i can do any more ideas would be great thanks

Are the addons downloaded and installed into the game directory. You can check by going to the OMSI 2 folder (C/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/OMSI/addons). You shoud see some folders which are roughly named like the addons. If they are not there then you need to go to your steam library and select OMSI 2. (Do not launch it). Now where all the news and hour count appears there should be a box which states which addons you have for OMSI. If the tick boxes are unticked then tick the boxes. If this does not work then there is one last option, that I know of. Launch OMSI 2 and go to the main screen where you can select maps, etc. Then go to Settings, this should open a settings windows. Along the top of this window are different tabs. Go to the tab that says addons, from here you can check if OMSI is recognising the addons or not and then possibly try and activate them from there. (This is the only other thing I can think of apart from contacting AeroSoft or going to Marcel's Omsi Forum and asking in there help section). They will require from you a log file. To generate this log file. Launch OMSI 2 and try to use the addon (like spawn in the addon bus or launch the addone map). Click through all the errors. Once it has loaded or crashed then a logfile is created. This logfile is also in the root of the OMSI 2 folder and simply called logfile and is a .txt file.

Hope this has helped and if not I hope that you get this issue sorted. I myself have had many problems with this game but still somehow have put 400+ hours into it.

The best solution would be to go to the AeroSoft website and have them activated there. They will require your CD key for your addons which you can get simply from the library page of OMSI on the tabs on the right of the screen.

Use the aeorsoft launcher to activate any adons you haven't got from steam

No no no. OMSI 2 when brought via steam does not require the aerosoft launcher, OMSI 1 however does require the aerosoft launcher. By using the aerosoft launcher you could make your whole game invalid if aerosoft does not accept the key. This is why you should use the aerosoft website. Trust me here, I have put well over 900 hours into OMSI 1 and just over 400 hours into OMSI 2.
