Metropole Ruhr / Ruhrgebiet map not working on certain parts or directly not working sometimes (aswell as dusseldorf not working entirely)
So, i bought metropole ruhr a bit ago so i cannot refund it sadly. on some certain parts of the map the map straight up ends and it stays like that. or sometimes it doesnt even load. ive tried checking the cache, its the same results. anyone has any solution for that? Also the dusseldorf map is not working and i quickly refunded it so if anybody could help me on that it would be cool.

Metropole Ruhr is actually the biggest map in Omsi.
This map need a good cpu (min 3,2 GHz) and enought RAM.
Have you installed the 4GB Patch?
What say the logfile?

Hi, I just got dusseldorf fixed too btw lol. but uh I have 4gb patch and everything. I don't really know about my cpu or ram. Ill go check on the dlc page

So... it should be alright. My pc has 8gb ram it's 64bit processor is 3.5GHz. I don't remember where the logfile is tho and i get confused on finding the errors on the logfile. Wish I could post photos here to show you.

You find the logfile in Omsi folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Omsi 2) > Error messages

Maybe the grafic settings are to high.
If logfile show funktion errors (Zugriffsverletzung) reinstall Omsi and these maps.

I only have my settings to 100 fps cap, i think 2 or 1 neighbour tiles and 750 max object distance thingy

It show that Omsi cannot loading the sceneryobjects. Try to reinstall these two maps, if doesn't help, try to reinstall omsi

-100 Fps is too much, max 30-35(Or less with type of big and complicated map)
-Tiles 1 max. 2 is also to much and a lot of more calculations and overload for the CPU.
-750 m is Ok.

Schedule traffic is very important and play a key role by the perfomances of the map.
More high the number more calculations and deteriorated are the perfomances. This number 20 included buses, trams, trains, etc.
Must remember always that Omsi is a game full working and dependent of CPU(processor). Near all is processor. RAM a lot less and play a secondary role and finally Graphics Card very, very, very little.
Big maps(and maybe also no good optimised)can overload the processor work with at the end very poor perfomances and FPS, lag, freezes and others.
More "relax" work the processor, better is.
