downloading non-steam addon maps

Hi all, I one downloaded projekt scezcin for omsi 2. I copied all the folders in my omsi 2 file and it kinda got messed up. Reinstalled OMSI 2 and then tried the Airport addon. This was an .exe file and i only had to click it and the download started. I didn't have to do anyting, the wizard took it over. Do you guys know more maps with a wizard and not copying all the maps.

Their are not mods/maps that come with installers. If your stuck installing maps manualy i suggest looking at tutorials on youtube videos on how to install maps... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wRiBAMVdR0&ab_channel=aboutOmsi

Also read the readme files and manuals beacuse they are important on telling you how to install the maps otherwise you will have problems installing maps and mods. Like you did with Projekt scezcin

that is wierd, because omsi airport had an installer and i didn't had to do anything

Only a few come as installer, but i avoid them as i like to know what is being installed. Most OMSI map-builders are trustworthy enthusiasts, but exe files could infect your system with malware.

I would say re-tryinstalling project sezzecin again if anything happens dont re-install omsi non of the files in projekt sezzicen will affect the base game or any DLC.
