I have detail low, sound second highest I think, AI low.
I the game you need to keep things like
tiles at 1,
sound about 600, (if you go lower, you loose passenger speech)
Draw distance about 600-700
Buses 20
Max peds 120
Set sliders at ‘don’t render side streets’
Reflections -depending on maps 64,128,256 (it takes time to load this if you change it, best to restart Omsi)
Set frame rate at 30fps, ironically it tends to be better than say 60fps.
Set you graphics card VRAM. For eg 6GB = 6,144mb, 4GB = 4,096mb, 8GB = 8,192mb, 16GB = 16,384mb
Also apply the 4GB patch.
Of course all of this is subjective, it’s best to start low -as above- and work your way up to a steady frame rate. But don’t be expecting miracles as OMSI2 is 32bit.
Be obsessed with smoothness to a degree and stop fixating on a fps counter.
When you have a happy setting *save it* at the main ‘save/load’ menu on OMSI. Then you can call it up. There’s also many presets inc in that list by the devs and and any DLC maps you have.
Try some of them to see if they help?
