Hope this helps, and don't apologise for asking 'noobie' questions. That's how we all learn. Welcome to the wacky world of Omsi.
press E - you will get the pressure ok message
press M - you will hear a high pitch note
press M again- that fires up the engine
the bus will be in neutral gear with handbrake on.
put bus in drive
release handbrake

Your comment has been the most useful so far but I still don't know what to press when it comes to...
Putting the bus on drive
Releasing the handbrake
and accelerating.
So please assist me with those questions.
after you have started the engine-
depress footbrake pedal and hold. then press N to put gear into neutral. release footbrake
press D to put gear into drive
press . (full stop) to release handbrake
press gas pedal
you can see all the keyboard assignments by pressing Esc, then select Options, Keyboard
there is a manual for the London addon which is located in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\OMSI 2\Addons\London
try it this way-
when you are seated scroll down and you will see the D,N & R buttons. just below those is the handbrake. (scroll by pressing and holding the wheel of the mouse and then move the mouse around)
ensure the bus is in drive by first depressing and holding the brake pedal fully down and clicking on the N button. take your foot off the brake pedal and click on the D button. you should see it slightly depress and hold. it should not be flashing. then release the handbrake by clicking and holding on the handbrake and pushing it forward to "OFF" now when you press the accelerator pedal the bus should move
Thank you so much. I have finally found out how to move my bus in omsi 2 and if I even need to remember how to do it I will ask you. Thanks!
I figure it out anyways. Thanks!
