You don't tell us what specs you have, is this a laptop or desktop? Does your CPU have a very good Single core? This is very beneficial for OMSI2
I have a lot of maps and buses inc all the Hamburg maps and the huge Gladbeck.
Have you read the manuals for them and tried the settings they recommend? Or even used the 'load' option at the main menu for loads of map presets inc Hamburg?
I haven't tried the settings presets or the ones recommended in the manual. Will try them and report back, thanks for the suggestion.
But to be honest, I thought my processor would be good enough to run Hamburg Hafencity, considering I could run London...
If you're referring to the manual's location, then yeap I found it, thanks~
Sometimes I’ve found you set the tiles to 1, don’t load side streets, AI buses can be down to 20 it helps, people I set to around 200.
What is your manual GPU allocation set at?
I have a GTX 1060 6GB so it’s set at 6,144MB
Save that and quit OMSI 2 Then restart the game again.
Set your fps at -ironically 30fps and try that. It can be a lot smoother than say 60fps
My tile count is 3 with all details (including side streets) loaded, AI buses are max, humans max count is 140. FPS is set to 30fps as well.
I will refer back to your comment if I face any issues, thank you for your assistance~
Drop tile count to 1 it’s a smoother long term experience.
Don’t do side streets - you don’t go down them nor look at them ;)
AI buses can be set at 20, again it’s not needed as it’s processing them on roads - hence why you see white textures on buses that come into view.
Some yes, but not into crazy figures. As I said do 20 and see how that goes.
The rest is fine
Mirrors Reflections ‘economy’
Try 256/512
Maps like the base game Spandau can be really smooth in the mirrors, due to it not being more modern.
It’s a subjective game.
Noted on the tile count, side streets, and max AI buses.
Mirrors have always been on economy, with reflection texture set to 512.
