What is the longest bus route you drove
Hi all,

Just a fun game...

What is the longest route you drove?

To make it understandable for each other please put this in your comment:
- Name of the map
- The drive time in hours/minutes (for example 1h 17 min)
- The amount of stops on the map. (first and last stop included)

I hope this works out as a fun game. (also i am a bit curious what the longest route is)

greetings

Well my longest route was:
- Omsi 2 Berlin-Spandau
-0h 47min
-36 bus stops

I thought the X10 route was longer but it turns out not to be. X10 is only 30 minutes.

NOTE: this is only picked out of the routes i've driven. I own X10 for a short period now

Maybe not considered the longest trip but I have done a complete return trip from one end to the other non-stop on both the 92 and 05 routes in the Berlin default map. That's about an hours worth of driving non-stop. I shared the route with my A.I counterpart as we followed each other along the route helping each other picking up passengers. That was fun.

With the next update of Projekt Gladbeck in 6-7.2016 will be released the line SB29, his are long 1 hour.

Is the update for project Gladbeck free? I've read a lot of negative comments about this particular DLC.

The longest, in terms of the number of stops - must be night line NE2 on Gladbeck. On Saturdays it runs from Bottrop ZOB to Recklinghausen Hauptbahnhof - a total of 68 stops. The timetable allows 1 hr 2 mins.

that is a lot of stops.

I personally don't own gladbeck. Is it a good map in comparison to X10?

From what I have read on the Omsi forum and elsewhere, the Gladbeck DLC is nowhere near as good as X10. In fact, it's a pretty bad DLC and Aerosoft (Publishers), have taken a verbal slating in the way they handled this one saying things like it's not much better than a freeware addon.

For me personally, I'm english and therefore cannot wait for the South London Project DLC to be released. I'm happy just dipping into Omsi at the moment on the Berlin default maps. However, I may buy X10 if and when it's availbale in a sale.

ah right. that is the difference, I have to look up some dutch maps...

I just don't want to drive in the UK because i don't like their busses and they drive on the other side of the road. (no offence to you ofc)

thanks for replying

Ha ha,..I understand what you're saying and the same goes for me too which is why I cannot wait for the South London Project to be released. I want to drive on familiar territory.

Grudhof to the Krankenhaus, and then I repeatedly ran over all the passengers, getting off at the last stop, before I got to the Krankenhaus. I am doing life now, somewhere near Frankfurt. Please send cigarretes. I do not regret a moment of that decision, in fact it was quite fun. All that was missing was the screams and the thumping noises, after I ran them down.

Bad Kinzu Route 299. LOTS of turns and hills, after awhile it got tedious.
