Report a translation problem
If the following paragraph is clearly stated on Aerosoft product pages for the product on Aerosoft you are buying:
"Note: We provide a serial number with the purchase of this download version. Afterwards, you need to download this add-on via Steam and activate it. This requires a Steam account."
Then you get a Steamkey for certain products bought via Aerosoft. In other cases not.
As far as I know this is only avaiable for TS2014 pourchases.
So honestly, no, you can't get a steam key for O305 unless if you bought it at Steam (and in that case no key is needed!)
There are plenty of companies that give steam keys to people after the game/addon ends up on steam.
I also think that not providing steam activation for those that already bought it at the site would be a terrible idea seeing how a steam verify hoses all the DLC that is installed outside of Steam without backing up a bunch of files..
