Addons not activated
Hi everybody, I bought 2 DLC from steam (3Gen and E-Bus) and both are listed in the OMSI app as not activated, i've tried uninstalling and installing everything, even changed the destination folder and i keep getting the same outcome, addons not showing in the landing page and as not activated on the addons part of the options menu

I think you need to install Aerosoft Launcher app to check if they are activated.

Not if you brought them on steam you don't need the Aerosoft launcher. Just click manage DLC and make sure they are ticked is how it should work.

same problem here, and even though the DLC's are properly installed and activated in the game manager, when i open the addons window at the game interface still have 4 DLC's not activated ( Hamburg, Hafen City, 405 bus ) .

I've had that for ages, but i still obviously still have the addons.
The funny thing is, i've just built a new PC now and had a fresh install of many of my games inc OMSI 2 and now they all show up now.

so you don't have any fixing method to this problem ? the game was working nice on my old Laptop with win 7, now i got Asus Tuf win 11 with RTX 3060 GPU and it showing that these DLC's are missing . Also there are missing objects in the Berlin X10 DLC it really frustrating since i contact with the game publisher with E-mail and they told me to request solving from Steam itself
I have arounf 250 hours in this game and now it wont work

Have you added mods? The simplest way to solve anything missing with DLC is to untick it in your DLC list, let it uninstall and then tick it again to reinstall. The most likely issues with missing objects is a map mod that's overwritten object/textures etc. I've had it.
Roads turning into fields for eg though a map mod

I had some mods in my previous laptop but now i have no mods, and i reinstall the game twice, the DLC's still not activated .

You don't have to uninstall the game, just the DLC. As long as the DLC shows in your steam account it's activated is all that matters. If your picking buses and maps within OMSI2 and it shows, it's working

The only thing that can affect DLC bought on steam -apart from 3rd party mods writing over content etc -is Virus scanner and/or poor internet connection corrupting the download.
I have approx 28 bought DLC from steam and a couple 3rd party maps
I also have Berlin X10 and it's fine.

BTW, if you have used mods in the game, they are *not* deleted when you uninstall OMSI 2 from steam. You *have to to that manually by deleting the folders left over in the OMSI 2 DIR* Only legit bought content gets removed

Thank you for your replay,
Well, i repeat all things you said and all the DLC's are activated on steam bu its not activated in the game, however the mods that i installed befor was on my x laptop, is it possible to download themselves automatic ? . and if so i can make sure that there is no mods installed ?
thank you in advance .

On the startscreen select load map without busses.
Bobby Jan 15, 2024 @ 11:10am
No mods do not download automatically. You have to physically install them yourself.
As well as what Everman said, have you tried signing out of steam and then resigning back in?
