You can download HOF Suite to check if the hof includes what you want (IIRC some of the .hofs will create a error message because the routes aren't set up correctly).
Worst case, make 1 .hof file that can suite all buses and use that.
The D&N and HafenCity need to have different .hof files.
You can't drive the 109 and 688 in HafenCity without the .hof file from HafenCity.

EDIT: Would have been much better if there were 1 .hof file linked with the map, instead of 1 copy of it in all the buses. Then it would be 1 universal file that worked with all the buses instead. You wouldn't have to worry about choosing the correct one to make it work.
Thanks for letting me know about HOF Suite though. It sure does look like a powerful program, and it supports the Krueger++ fonts!
