OMSI 2
My Logitech G29 causes OMSI.exe to not respond everytime I press K button or go into controller mode?
I have had the Logitech G29 for a long time and It works fine but everytime I try to press the "K" button it causes my OMSI.exe to clash and not respond and I don't know why it's happening and does anyone have the same issues and more importantly know how to fix it?

It's fine but if I have connected the G29 it would freeze the game and did you have any experience with the freeze on any other steering wheels than G29

Why are you pressing the 'K' button? What does it do? I take it this is the K on the keyboard?

K activates the wheel steering

It activates and works fine but when deactivating it is causing the non-responsive issues?

Why not just press the Alt button which brings up the menu in game on the bottom right of the screen and select your steering wheel/keyboard from there? I have a Logitech G29 too but haven't experienced any crashing issues.

What Logitech software are you using? I'm still using the older Logitech Gaming Software but I know there is another, newer software but I can't remember what it's called.

I am using the G-Hub and even if I press Alt and click steering it still does the same thing and I have seen other people commenting about loading longer issues on other simulation as well as mine and I have sent a message to Logitech about my issue...

O meu também está com o mesmo problema. Começou no final de maio.

I have had very little luck with the logitech HUB software. Matter of fact it totally BROKE ffb in another racer that I play. Had to edit the registry to get it back after finding the solution somewhere online.

I went back to the older Logitech Gaming software and have not had issues since.

Logitech drivers are getting really bad in my opinion.

Ok,I've just played OMSI and my Logitech G29 experiences no issues. I am using the older Logitech Gaming software. Once the wheel is setup and working in OMSI for the first time, then it's very rarely you have to touch the 'K' button or even the ALT key to bring up the menu in order to select the wheel. It should automatically remember that you have a wheel connected.

I'm using Logitech G Hub. No issues.

Glad its working for you.. Prekratic however I have a hard time trusting it considering what it did to me.

Glad they fixed it.. (perhaps) I'm still not using it.

Not sure you have the games that it messed up on me.

Only bad thing is if I played e.g. "The Bus" (game have different force feedback setting) before OMSI 2. Because G29's turning will be locked in OMSI 2 until I restart the PC. This is because OMSI 2 is old and not have official support for G29.

OMSI has supported since Logitech G27 and many other wheels. The age of OMSI has nothing to do with it. Why the OP feels the need to press the 'K' button is beyond me. Once the wheel is set up properly in the OMSI Controller settings, then there's no need to press anything after that once in game. I'd say his game controller settings are either corrupted in some way or it's a Game Hub issue specific to his set up.

As to The Bus, I didn't experience any issues with the wheel being Locked when playing between OMSI and The bus or any of my other driving Sims.

Yeah, exaxtly.

Strange... my G29 is locked when I was playing "The Bus" with "steering depends on speed" (option is called something like that) turned off.
