OMSI 2
OMSI No Longer Under Development?
So I have heard that OMSI is no longer under development. Is this true? It was one of the best bus simulators I've played in my opinion other than some glitchy maps.

How long ago did OMSI stop development?

Last (final) update was Dezember 2016 I think.

that's really sad. I hope one day someone launches a bus sim as good as the legendary OMSI 2.
Customisation really is key and that's what still makes the game relevant: the fact that you can mod it and transform it into anything you want

In mid 2014 MR Software has been dissolved because of the conflict between two developers. Then...one of the developer has started making a brand new simulator LOTUS. And on december 2016 the last OMSI update was offered. Since then not any patches were released. MR software had planned to update, fix the game and support and add something such as Steam Workshop but as MR software was gone everything was canceled. Someone said due to a copyright problem related to Ruediger who left MR software this game cannot be improved. That means this is an abandoned game.

Still makes me very sad because it's the best bus simulator out there. All the other ones I don't care for. Especially anything by TML Studios.

Aerosoft is still the publisher though. They could have put some effort to get hold of the rights.
