Click on the tab "Tracks & Trips".
In the drop down menus select the route you want to work on.
Click on "Edit Profiles".
This allows you to determine the total time time for the whole run and even (if you wnt to) predetermine the time at each individual bus stop. When you're happy with that, click on "Save".
Now click on "Edit Timetable".
Click on "Line". Enter the number (or name) of the line. What you enter here is what will appear when you choose the timetable option when running OMSI.
If you want to be able to drive the line yourself (as opposed to it being just an AI line) make sure that you tick the box next to "User is allowed to drive this line".
Click on "Tour". Give the tour a number (probably "1" for the first tour, but you can enter what you like).
"AI-Veh-Group". This is where you can select which AI vehicles will run the route.
"Conditions". You can select which days of the week the timetable will run. If the timetable is the same on all 7 days of the week, tick all the boxes.
Click on "NEW". From the drop-down menu select the route and direction.
"Dep. Time". Enter the time the journey will start. Having done that, the end time will be shown in "End Time".
Now repeat the process for the return trip. Make sure that your start time for the return journey is at least one minute later than the arrival time of the preceding journey.
Keep repeating this process until the timetable is complete.
You can use "Repeat" at the bottom if the day consists of a series of similar runs, all with the same interval between arrival and departure.
If more than one bus is needed to maintain the timetable, go back to "Tour" and select a second tour and enter all the times for that second bus. etc.
Finally, remember to save at regular intervals.
