Maps and Mods?

Hey all i thought we should create a thread where we can recomend maps and mods for all :)
Im currently back in berlin spandau the original with the new dlc(i280) but frequently drive the chicago (dlc) and bowdenham (believe is free)
what do you recomend? :)

The the best made and largest maps for me is alheim, Winsenburg, and städtedreieck. I like maps with many routes and roads with more than one lane each way

Since you're a fan of Chicago, you'll probably be a fan of maps I made (Cayuga USA, Liberty, Grundelphia) as they all are based in the US.

Another map worth checking out is Daytonford, as it's equally as great.

What type of buses are you into?

im not looking for any :) but im into omsi full stop any bus any location :) i thought we should have a place where we can see what others recomend :)

I got the game simulation on monday. Some review said that some mods are better than official DLC. What are nice mods to begin? Also do mods require any DLC or are they usually stand-alone? Also how do devs avoid ppl taking DLC and offering them as mod?

welcome @ theres a whole heap of different maps yes some require dlc but if u go on to the website it should say if it requires any extras :)
id suggest going through the official forums and search through the maps.
for a map with alot of routes try project szczecin :) or great grundorf 2 :)
most forums and sites have an anti privacy ruling which makes any DLC officially wont be offered on there site which eliminates alot of sharing illegally of paid DLC hope this helps and welcome to the omsi club mate hope you enjoy feel free to add me on steam if u have further questions :)

Thanks m8s. What I really don't like about modderinos, is that they usually require lots of other mods and when installing one map you need 10 other mods and I'm too lazy for that, but that's my problem. ^^
