OMSI 2 or Busbetrieb-Simulator don't start!

I need help my PC tries to start OMSI 2 and the window that says "OMSI 2 is starting..." keeps opening and closing and the game never starts! With Busbetrieb-Simulator I try to open it and it says that the game is open and closes suddently. Can someone help me please?

Same problem - I sent a support ticket - waiting to hear. I also got an error message when I opened the busbetrieb sim - It said application load error: v 0000065432. I have an automatic download/update in progress for OMSI right now. I am hoping this fixes it. All I can say is that I think they are aware of the problem(s) and are trying to work on them. If not, will just have to go for a refund. But I think patience is the better option here.

Hi It might help might not but I had the same problem and a resart fixed the problem

I am able to start the program by selecting OMSI2 WITHIN Steam. A menu then opens that asks me to choose OMSI or Busbetrieb. If I choose the latter it starts and loads - weird -VERY weird. If I use the shortcut I made for the desktop, it will not work. I repeat - WEIRD!

Its good to hear that you can start the game so was the problem the shortcut? It is strange that a shortcut would not work

I restarted the computer and after some time it worked! Thank you so much!

are you getting the same error as Oli?

error V:0000065432 posible Solution(s):
- wait for Steam to complete current downloads (?)
- quit any Steam related process
- launch Steam again
- launch game

No F1Aaron - does not work. The shortcut I mentioned was a brand new one from the busbetrieb Download. Just will not work. have to lanch fro Steam and then choose the bus sin vs Omsi. Not convenient at all, as I run every game from a desktop shortcut. Hopefully it will get fixed, but at least it runs.

what exe are you copying?

In the BBS directory in OMSI 2, there are some application executables. The one I think to be used is "launcher.exe". When I use that one, BBS opens - but stays on the original screen "forever".. I have also tried one called "launcher" and one called "busbetrieb-simulator.jar". The last 2 brought me no success at all. Just dead space. If there is another that I should/can use, kindly tell me and I'll give it a try. Thanks for your response.

Also F1Aaron, I too get that v 0000065432 error if I do not lauch from within steam (I mean I DO get it if I use the shortcut.)

Ok you are clicking the right one then, have you tried verifying it if so try again so you can reinstal java the do a restart then try again thats what I hade to do to get it working if that doesn't work try a full reinstall of the game.

it sounds like it may not of installed properly or some of the files are not there again try verifying it if that doesn't work try a full reinstall of the game. hope this helps

Well I just completely reinstalled BBS. Now it opens, but when I attempt to get going and buy a bus, it will not let me - says no data connection. Can you PLEASE advise?
