HafenCity addon tile problem
Hello,

I never run into problems in OMSI, really. Even Gladbeck runs "ok" for me. I did not expect problems with this addon.
So yesterday i bought HafenCity, drove line 111, its perfect. Line 6 in the middle of the line (Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) my map just dissapeared. 2 times in a row! I even changed the bus model in 2cd time!
So - does anybody know how to solve this problem? Because this map is just ****** awesome!

Cheers, and thanks.

You must install the 4Gb patch after any OMSI update and whenever you install a DLC. It's very important. This fixes the game and all DLC addons to use the maximum 4Gb instead of the 2Gb it uses without it.

Get it from here.

Map disappears because you don't own hamburg day&night DLC. Hafencity only has two lines, other two are for hamburg day&night.

I have Hamburg day&night dlc.

Funny fact - i have bought it twice, one on steam, and one in aerosoft.
Thats not the problem.

I,m very suprised about this, because i can call my self an OMSI veteran, i have 300+ h on omsi2, and when omsi1 was out i played it at least twice as much, and i have never had an issues like this.
I dont know why is this happening? Shoud i re-install the game?

Try verify files on Steam. I have Hamburg Day&Night DVD and Hamburg HafenCity on Steam and didn't have this problem.

So I verifyed files, there were some missing ones. I played the map again, this time it was the same problem, just a little bit further this time.
So, i uninstalled the game, and installed it again, this time it went even more further, but again, the white buildings, and next tile just wont load.
Never had issues like this.

You could check the logfile if this error occurs

Can someone describe how to check the logfile?
Alexander L. Sep 5, 2018 @ 1:31pm
It normally should be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\OMSI 2\logfile.txt"

It can be opened with a normal text editor. Hit Ctrl+F and search for the term "Error:".
