Virtual right side mirror?
I love almost everything about Omsi, but one thing that irritates me is the right side mirror. If you have just one monitor (and don't have headtracking of some sort) it's hard to judge
right turns and aligning at bus-stops since you don't see the right mirror on screen.
If you have played Euro truck simulator, you might have seen the virtual right side mirror they have. Something like that would be wonderful in Omsi. Perhaps there is a mod that add this?
I've searched but can't find any info about it.

There is always some spot on your windshield on which you can judge how close to the curb you are. For example, some busses have double windshield and you have to look where centre collumn meets the bottom line of the left side of the windshield. And when you see the curb around that spot you know that your right side is close to the curb. On busses that dont have double windshield I use ticket machine as a refference point.
And when im taking the right turn i look to the right to see the mirror and drive forward until my rear wheels are parallel to the end of the curb and then i take the turn.
It works pretty good to me

Yeah, but it would be so much easier to just look in an existing mirror on screen when turning instead of having to change view each time. Ah well, maybe i'll get a 3-monitor setup someday.

It's not that hard to do to be honest. Before I got my wheel setup and TrackIR, I used to play with just mouse steering/acceleration and use the left/right keys (I think the Arrow keys on numpad), on the keyboard for my right-side mirror and bringing it back to centre view again. I became quite a dab-hand at it I played so much. :steamhappy:

I know what you're saying though about a virtual mirror like in ETS/ATS and even Fernbus Coach simulator has them for those without headtracking.
