yes, that should work,
you need to overwrite some files, that's o.k., simply click "yes".
Julingen is a very good map (my opinion) and it works much better/ smoother as some payware maps and the map is huge, concerning coverage. You even get bus repaints with it, and it simply works ..just make sure you have the O305 addon, which is very good as well, with the bus and the map Neuendorf.

If it'll be payware ... I'd easily say ... take my 25 €, girl ....... but only paypal-b***s**t available in the Julingen-manual...

Julingen definitely is on par with payware maps ..or even better and far beyond, if it comes to maps like ruhrgebiet/ gladbeck/ palma for example.
but that's just my opinion :)

best and easiest way to download/ install the map Julingen is with the bus company simulator - dlc.
good luck with line 174, it just takes 2 hours and 10 min. :D

everytime i try and install it via bus sim it does not recognise it in the downloads folder doesnt make any sense

If BCS doesn't recognize the file, you have to unpack it to the OMSI folder, and restart BCS. It should recognize it as installed after that.
