Trackir option greyed out

so have just come back to this game after a while. my wheel and button boxes work, can select the wheel from the ALT menu. The trackir option though is greyed out and I cant enable it. Reinstalled Omsi 2, still nothing. Was sure I had to do something else to get it working the first time I used it but cant remember what it was... Any ideas?

Hmm..wondering if its the update..am using Trackhat so maybe that needs updating to work with Omsi...

reinstall of trackir drivers? Firewall/Virus scanner exceptions - perhaps.

Not sure on this one.. as it works correctly for me.. and no update. Some peope get updates to specific DLC assocated with their account on ocassion.

You could also update the game support list from within the trackir software.

Thanks for replies. its the Trackhat with opentrack software..not trackir.. really wierd as it works on ets2 and ats and until recently with omsi 2..
guess a bit more digging lol

Ahh.. I understand. :) Interesting. I remember I had a problem with my firewall when I was trying to get even the trackir working with it.

So..downloaded latest opentrack software..nothing.. couldn`t find an updated Trackhat version.
Uninstalled Trackhat and reinstalled using original installer..said some directory still exists install anyway?..yes.
Installer told me xxx file needs updating..proceed?...yes.
after installed I launched Omsi 2...success..
