Bremen Nord Where the ♥♥♥♥ are you!!??

Well this game is becoming a bit of a bad joke!! This is the 3nd addon ive tried and 3rd one that hasnt worked! Each addon has a different reason for not working. This one (Bremen North) when i try to load a route it say map not found and it doesnt show up in the addons box in options. Yet ive watch it down load on steam, steam DLC box is checked and saying its loaded?? Ive unistalled and reinstalled a few times now but each time its the same story.

When you reisntalled OMSI 2 and its related DLC.. did you first uninstall and then manually delete the folder before you re-downloaded the software?

Just a guess.. cause this is the first I've seen issues you describe.. at least in the recent past.

No i didnt, i actually only deleted the addon and reinstalled that, i didnt reinstall the whole game. Do you think this might be worth trying??

Well.. I'm certain that would be the first thing that I would try considering that I've not had.. nor seen an issue like that since ever.

Couldn't hurt.. unless of course you have a ton of mods installed..

Yea i gave it a go but it didnt change anything so i refunded it. ...Parts of this game/sim whatever you want to call it are so good but oh boy for the most part ive never played something that has given me so much grief. I wont be investing anymore money in to it thats for sure!

Thats sad to hear.. as, after purchasing a bunch of bus 'simulators', I found omsi to be the best 'simualtor'

Strange that you would have had those issues. at least you gave it a shot. Perhaps it was a permissions issue.. not sure of what version of windows you are using.. or It could be a overzelous virus scanner. So many variables.

Actually thats a good point i never thought to shut off my anti viruse just to see if that was the issue. I've installed other dlc and they have loaded just fine so i dont understand it. I also agree this is by far the best actual simulation of driving a bus it just feels so right the way the buses handle. The sounds are also amazing, the best sounds of any driving sim i know of. The graphics are a bit meh! But you dont really care once toy start driving.

Yes.. I do agree that the bus and the sounds are amazing.. A2A simualtions www.a2asimulations.com sure know how to do just this with FSX..

I have found that good simulators are usually lacking on the graphics side.. however I got used to it.. one thing about the reason the graphics are the way they are is that you can set the OMSI to edit mode and make your own scenery.

I'm sure that there is a reason why it doesn't work, I wish it did, cause it is a lot of fun in the end.

To be honest.. this simulator has got to be the most problimatic out of most of the games I play.. however it is just SO GOOD that I put up with most of the issues and have done so for many many years.

Lets just hope that the new simulator the dev is working on does not go down the pretty pretty forget simulator route.

P.S. Bremen just came out too .. but they were quick to fix many issues within days.. I hear another is coming at some point. . so have faith, I'm sure it'll work out. I certainly wouldn't want to shelve this wonderful game. Too bad the two guys that created it split up. :(
