I can't drive without hearing Rheinhausen bus engine sound
Why is the engine sound of Rheinhausen bus so quiet? I get the "normal engine sound volume" until I turn my speaker and windows volume to both 100% however the surrunding sound etc are much louder then I need

I don't know whether the real bus are like these but I REALLY CAN'T DRIVE WITHOUT LISTING THE ENGINE SOUND
Is there any solution? Thanks in advance!

If you open window in driver cabin, it will be a little bit louder :2015car:

I agree,..I purchased the Rheinhausen DLC just a couple of days ago and the engine sounds of the bus are very quiet indeed. It's just barely audible. I'm not sure if it's like that in real life either but I'm sure it should be louder inside than it actually is in the game. The buses in Berlin X10 are modern too but the engines are not as soft as the Rheinhausen one. Both of these DLC are made by the same developer too.

C2 is a quiet bus but if you want engine to be louder, you can edit Sound_C2.cfg file (MOTOR INNEN section) on your own. Just remember to make backup first.

Can you provide the path please because I can't find it? I mean, I know where the OMSI folder is and the OMSI addons but where exactly is this Sound_C2 cfg file?

...\OMSI 2\Vehicles\Rheinhausen_Ueberlandbus\Sound

Thanks. I've found the file but there's a lot of numbers in there under sound and Triggers. Not sure what to do. Which value do I change? I just want to make the engine sound a bit louder when inside the bus driving.

It should be the last values in [sound] and [loopsound] sections. Increase these values until you get the desired volume. The only solution is the trial and error method :2016imnotcrying: Unfortunately it is quite time consuming... You have to do it for every .wav file in MOTOR INNEN section.

Thanks a lot. As you say, trial and error.

thanks pal for your reply
In the previous version the engine sound is louder, so I replaced them all but it's still not loud enough
I will try the method you provided, thanks
