I think the real problem is that sniper class has the sway effect and the rng spread because it was originally supposed to have the benefit of being the class of long range 1 shots and required more challenge to use to be balanced. Now, you can have a primary, a backup, a special, and a heavy with all the capabilities of a sniper because PG isn't aware of what the word balance means. If other weapons were to stay in their lanes, or if accuracy had natural drawbacks for all weapons (high accuracy requires you to take more time acquiring a target and lining up a shot, instead of constant no-scoping, or accurate weapons also impacted mobility) then Snipers would be much less annoying.
Yes, but this is a game where 5/6 weapon categories have multiple insta kill no travel time weapons. RNG on one of these weapons feels out of place and annoying. As you said, balance doesnt exist in pg, so there's literally no justification for adding RNG to ONE of FIVE global range hitscan 1shots.
just having a steady aim without having to worry about something other than your target would be better than dealing with the sway in scoped mode
