Weapon stats make absolutely zero sense
When going into the armory, when checking out new weapons, what the hell are the stats? Fire rate is a random ass number that gets slapped on (e.g. Veteran being a slow firing gun and Combat Rifle shooting faster but have like a 5 fire rate difference?), damage is completely not here (i assume its called effeciency, but even then it's not accurate), and these vague properties that either are non factors or underwhelming.

yes. Came from the PC port. Stopped playing immediately, it was only going to get worse either way.

they like hiding weapon stats so you have no idea what you're buying. You can look up some like youtube showcases or whatever, but why should you have to? It's just dumb that the devs don't give us that information.

If it's an older weapon, there *might* be wiki information, but it may not even be accurate since the wiki is poorly managed now to the point where newer weapon pages are somewhat vague and/or empty, as well as a fair share of bias/unneeded commentary running through pages (and if you're lucky, people advertising there profiles)

The main thing the wiki is good for is checking for hidden stats/attributes but even then some weapons are completely misslabeled (ie Useful suitcase DOES NOT have enlarge heads, only the set it's a part of [the set bonus] has it). Youtuber showcase is definitely your best bet although I'd refrain from taking commentary seriously. Idk where i saw it but with a recent "pay" weapon, a youtuber said it's great for casuals, but it was impossible for casuals to obtain. Not trying to be mean, but how a weapon is portrayed via "descriptors" can greatly influence a PoV on a weapon so I'd be a bit careful with youtubers/wiki even though they're pretty much the only sources we have.

Oh and most weapon stats might be explained on the wiki, but anything newer don't expect it to be explained (ie stun attribute is an "image" of the attribute and not an actual page explaining what it does)

Also addressing inconsistencies with weapon stats: some weapons have an incorrect fire rate label that have never been fixed, hence the need to check wiki/youtube. A notable example is the poison spell book, as it's never been changed for over 10? years now. It has a ~90 something fire rate not a 50/30.

Regarding damage stats, having the highest effeciency at your current lvl for your weapon means it does the "correct" dmg labeled on the wiki.

The mechanics/upgrading stuff i can see being quite frustrating so i don't blame you for quitting. It's not entirely new player friendly just like the community. Honestly, idk how the game/studio/publisher is still surviving to some degree when the can't make things with quality/establish qualitative stuff.

I left knowing damn well i am always going to be underpowered, and there is literally nothing i can do except spend money, which, newsflash, is better spent on another game worth my damn time.

That's actually not the case with me, like every ranked match, i got like, 4 coins, PER MATCH. And the other rewards are fairly lackluster and are always never enough. The upgrade system constantly pressures me to keep spending so i never get enough coins/gems to have at least all my weapons to my current level.
