Are we all playing mobile players or bots?

some nostalgia of playing on mum's phone with this one, but after easily winning a battle royale with names that actually look like they're actually real (e.g. multiple languages, slurs, etc)

Just wondering if this is being played by actual humans and we're mixed into the mobile matchmaking pool

There is no way they are real players

Simply put, both. Mobile players can't opt out atm, and they are mixed with pc players. (was supposed to be a feature that would exist at launch, such that mobile players could opt out of playing with pc players, and isn't in the mobile version atm nor have they mentioned adding it. See my post for details)

I still destroy them on mobile. They're just kids who can't aim from what I can tell

You are playing battle royale against bots right now, you will tell by them being pathetically weak (pretty sure I got shot by a Prototype once... for 2% armor damage). You can't really lose these games, so just enjoy the free kills before you're thrown in with real players, which should happen around the time you unlock Squad mode and the second map.

Yeah at first I was slightly doubtful on whether they were bots or mobile players, but then I got shot by a prototype for 1% health, and then I used said prototype to instakill every other player on the map. It's easy to see the bots are so much weaker, but I'm not sure why they would do that, since bots are already inferior due to them being bots. Why make them weaker as well.
