Oculus Quest + Virtual Desktop VR: Can't get past the Tutorial / Ship Commands
I really liked SPAZ 1 and what I have seen so far in SPAZ 2's VR mode seems great.

However, i can't get past the tutorial in the campaign where I should select Ship commands using UP on the right controller's assumed DPAD (Or Joystick in my case).

I am using Virtual Desktop on My Oculus Quest, so Steam VR detects my Quest as Oculus Rift S, so far this works surprisingly good. I had issues with the joystick movements on both controllers as I had to press them in order to move. I think this is similar to the issue described here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/252470/discussions/6/1642043096900326835/

I could work around this by changing the joystick bindings in the Steam VR settings to deal with a Joystick touch to press, similar to the way described in the linked topic.

This works great for movement, but there still are some actions that won't work like changing to topdown camera (right dpad button on right stick) where I wonder what kind of input is expected here, as the movement is detected correctly so far.

I tried to follow the suggestion of binding the A button to UP for the right DPAD, in order to do that I had to do assign two things to the a button, 1. the simulated stick press and 2. the axis movement - Still doesn't work, although sometimes it seems to trigger an action where a green ring appears around my ship. I tried to alter X axis instead of Y to see if the camera change would work with that method, which it actually did.

Did anyone get it to work with a Rift S, Oculus Quest with Virtual Desktop or Valve Index and could share the configuration?

Also a question for Vive players that use it the way it is expected with a dpad on their sticks, is there any action happening on the dpad besides clicking the four directions? I'm wondering why things like rotating and moving the ship works while toggling camera doesn't, and I think that issues is also related to ship commands not working.

Thank for your advice!

I just realized after writing this, that with the default configuration where I need to press each joystick in addition to moving it into the respective direction, I could use the ship commands properly. Still I'm wondering what kind of action that is on the real dpad?

I would just like to move my right Joystick up for the commands like shown on the overlay and click grip + joystick right to toggle camera.
It seems like there is a difference between clicking a dpad button and holding it?
