Controls/Keyboard Not Responding (Comodo Firewall)
If you have Comodo firewall, you will need to be in "Game Mode" and unblock SPAZ 2. It blocks the Unity input manager otherwise causing all keyboard input to fail to register.

More Notes from apofisdraccoo:
Fortunately it was nice and simple: Open Comodo > Click on “Contained Apps” on the main screen > Right click on the file you are attempting to run (In this instance SPAZ 2) > Select “Add to Trusted Files” from right-click menu.

This happens if Comodo automatically puts your game into "Sandbox" mode, which makes it unable to set hardware "hooks" properly. If you have Sandbox mode disabled, as I do — it has issues with many other programs, not just Unity games — this won't be necessary, BUT... I wouldn't recommend doing so, however, just to get SPAZ 2 running; the specific fix above leaves your PC's security otherwise fully intact.

@Blorf: I've been kicking myself; I should have guessed Comodo (or a similar security product) might be the cause. Derp.

I've used Comodo for years, I know darn well how it interferes with many things but as I said, I run w/ Sandbox off out of necessity. Makes me feel rather silly I didn't suggest it earlier though ^^' . Geek fail!

If you can start a new thread we will use it for tracking and then once we find a solution (hopefully) it will be searchable for others. Can you please post your output_log.txt with the thread as well? If you start the game and then shut it down, it shouldn't be too large.

It is located here: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\SPAZ2\SPAZ2_64_Data
