Question about command
Im lvl 18 and I just unlocked the large ship in the hanger. It costs 12 command points, I only have 8. I have only ever had 8. Is there any way to increase "total command"?

You just need to choose the perk "Strikecraft command points" when it appears in the list of perks.

You can also attain essentially unlimited "prestige" points, a few at a time, past level 40.

No. Once you beat the Zombies you can play indefinitely and level the entire time. After a certain level (40, as I recall) the rewards do, however, drop significantly to "prestige" levels but there's no limit but your own ability to "meta-game" the endgame.

What I mean by "meta-game" is that there's no real objective, once you beat the Zombies; essentially, you've actually already won the game, so you need to come up with your own goals to keep the game amusing, if you want to continue. Now, starting a new game is fun too, but I think most of us have at least one game that they let evolve, to see what kind of monsters they can build. You can also meta-game goals and objectives during the main game (before you beat the Zombies) as well, to spice things up and/or increase difficulty.

This thread has some decent "meta" goals you might want to try, if you can't think of any off-hand =) .

By the by, so far on every update I've personally seen MinMax has NOT broken older saves (props to the devs!), so if you decide to play the extended post-endgame, it's not the same risk as it is on most games; my very 1st save ever still works fine. Old games DO take on new rules and mechanics right away, mind you! After the Strike Craft update, I suddenly had 3 6-star large SCs for "free" on my oldest active game and *all* blueprints (that I know of, anyhow ^^'); MinMax gave older saves what they felt was a reasonable match to their level. As another good example, on my current post-game build the Defensive Fighters were Attack Fighters, a deprecated variant:

That's my 2nd oldest save, btw, and has lasted through 3 updates with no problems.
