Only way StarDrive ever gets a 3 is if someone buys the rights from Dan and makes it themselves, which given how hard SD2 flopped and how oversaturated sci-fi strategy is at the moment likely never will happen.
A year after he went radio silent he dropped some ramblings about making a StarDrive 2 mobile game that could be played in 45 minutes, but then he never mentioned the IP again. 99% of the Zero Sum Games twitter is literally just Dan rambling about politics and AI.
