Disabling Sector Zero?

Ever since I bought the sector zero dlc I cant turn it off, dose anyone know how I can do that?

I tried that but when I went to start a new campaign it was still hexagons

Since everyone is getting the DLC for free (you didn't have to buy it). It may not be possible to disable it.

Before you ask, yes, it is a bug that people get the DLC for free, and it has been there for at least year, and the dev knows it, but he still charges on the store for it. So, essentially, you are paying for something you would have gotten for free anyway. Which is why I refuse to support this dev anymore.

Zero is a scammer, he has no interest in customer service and puts out substandard software to rip off as many unsuspecting people as he can. Just wait for stardrive3!

The only thing you can really do is to not buy any more programs of him and to inform yourself beforehand before you buy anything. TBH, from reading a lot of Steam reviews, there is hardly a 4X game without issues. And there are always some people content and others not content with any game which makes it difficult to get aware of the bad apples.

This worked for me. Thanks go to Mr. Hatch for posting on another thread.

Edit: After a brief time playing, this fix is premature. Test is as buggy as one would expect and unfortunately keeps crashing for me. Thought I had found a way to go back to original SD2, but alas ...

Nothing worse for a game than an indifferent/neglectful/neglicent and abandoning owner and dev. He could so easyly add an earlier version in the DLC menu
