No 1920x1080 resolution?
I can't seem to find 1920x1080 in the resolution options. I've searched through all the resolutions but I can't see it anywhere. It seems very strange that they'd leave out the most common resolution used on PC's, especially considering the myriad of non-standard resolutions that they have included.

Am I just missing it? If not, can you please bring in support for that resolution?

mine's running at 1920x1080

That's really strange. When I first ran it, it started in 1280x720. But no matter which setting I looked in I couldn't see 1920x1080 at all. Does anyone know if there is a command line that can be used in steam to set the resolution manually? Or a config file that can be edited to set the resolution properly?

tryswitching to windowed mode then back to fullscreen, I suggested this elsewhere but didn't get a response if this fixed it

I'm not getting 1080p option either. For that matter the game is very choppy for no reason when playing on windowed or fullscreen mode.
Tried Gamer X's suggestion but that didn't work at all.

it should have the 1920x1080 option when aspect ratio is set to 16:9

afaik, the options are not coded but based on what the engine detect is available.
so not all options might be available in the option.
pls post your OS, graphic card and graphic driver version if you encounter this.

my spec as tested are:
windows 7 64bit (service pack 1)
Geforce GTX 660 (HDMI output)
driver version 331.82

Thanks for replying. For some reason the highest the 19:9 settings go to for me is 1600x900

My specs are as follows:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
Intel Core i7-3770k
16GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 770 4GB (current driver version 332.21, although I have noticed there is a newer one out now)
I'm also using 2 monitors, the main one being 1920x1080 and the secondary one being 1680x1050. Both are connected through DVI.

How about adding 1280x1024 resolution?
lagrangewei Feb 19, 2014 @ 7:52am
for 1280x1024, try setting the aspect ratio to 5:4

does disabling the 2nd monitor help? i will take note of possible issue with certain multi-display setup but this will probably not be address soon. hope you understand.

Unfortunately that didn't work either, and yes, I appreciate that this won't be a high-priority fix.

Is there any editable config files that we can set the resolution manually in by any chance?
YagamiBrando Feb 19, 2014 @ 9:38am
@lagrangewei, thanks. But when I tried setting it up the game shut down saying that my videocard does not support this resolution. although 1280x1024 IS my monitor's resolution and I have never expirienced such problem with any other game. Please look into this problem :(
Also for some reason the game works 60 fps only on lower resolutions, and feels like 30 fps or lower on higher ones, though my PC is not weak and should provide 60 fps on any resolution. Optimization issue ??

i suspect the engine is having vsync problem in certain resolution but we have not been able to isolate it. in some cases, switching between fullscreen and windows and back again will break the 30fps limit.

you can try editing the xml in this folder:

[your user folder]\AppData\Roaming\PD Design Studio\DustyRevenge\game\gameScripts\MenuSystem

the value for 1920x1080 would be:
<Resolution1>1920 1080</Resolution1>

however i do not know for sure if this file would function properly as we have disable script editing to avoid people modifying saved data for the steam version.

That worked! I edited it in Notepad++, re-saved it, and it's worked a charm. Thank you!
