For the 4 people out there playing this on Linux under Proton
Is the game crashing on start for you like many people are reporting?

I'm playing this thing on Arch and I still haven't seen any problems. I booted up the game several times already, tweaked graphics, restarted, etc. and so far nothing.

There are plenty of reviews mentioning that the game crashes when you change the graphics or even for linking your Xbox account so I would say that is not Linux related.

Yes. Looks like logging in with a MS account is what's breaking the game, exactly the one thing I'm unable to do right now.

Linux users basically just dodged a bullet.
Linux is a terrible OS for literally everything aside from programming
Gaming on Linux is 99% troubleshooting 1% gaming

2+ years on CachyOS. Gaming has been fine. Most just work out of the box.

Works just fine if your all parts manufacturers have proper driver support for Linux and you don’t require Dolby Vision HDR, ALLM, Surround Sound, Games with Anti-Cheat etc

Kind of hard to believe when even Valve had so much trouble honoring their promise of making all games on Steam Box ported from Windows to Linux for better performance. There were so many people complaining about performance and stability problems, they finally gave up on it. It's also a big part I think of what made Steam Box's initial launch fail.

You can login to Microsoft by adding

SteamDeck=1 %command%

Works for me, now getting a controller to work is another story I'm still trying works fine on the steam deck but not my new rig I've been trying over Bluetooth and decided xone drivers via the usb dongle...

Are you just plain stupid, dude?
I played the campaign in single player. No problems at all. Did not try any multiplayer features though, because I was not interested in them.
