In all fairness... MCC was fine in singleplayer, it was the multiplayer that suffered. I have hope that they are doing these remasters one at a time, and will bundle the rest as "DLC", the same way they did MCC (via steam)
Would be nice to get confirmation on this, since I don't think many will buy this if it's JUST the first game.. Again
Agreed! People are never happy. There is already a few topics regarding existing owners of UE on MS store who will get reloaded version for free. And now those owners are speculating if they will get it for free on Steam. Fat chance, they will require you to purchase it to own it on Steam. I have no issues buying it on Steam for crossplay mp (as that will be my main reason for buying it).
There's a lot more than 3 Gears of Wars though. It would a gigantic task.
If this does well and Microsoft sees there's real interest in classic Gears on PC then maybe they'll put in the effort needed for a full collection. A lot of people who jumped off of Xbox when they bungled the XB1 launch probably haven't played Gears since the 360 days, so I think you'll see some people buy this for the nostalgia kick. It worked for Oblivion.
Plus, as a excuse to justify 60-80 usd price tag.
It's finally became playable on not just PlayStation but also Linux too tho.
