I also think most of these "haters" haven't even realized this is the full version of Slender: The Eight Pages made by the same authors (and in corporation with the guys of marble hornets) and not just another cheap clone.
The game is in fact fine if somewhat short, but it is great looking and has a great atmosphere, as well as adding a lot of cool stuff to the game wich the original did not.
No. People hate it because they are slender enough.
It's a slender game, of course it's gonna be picked on. Remember when Haunted Memories beta released? Exactly.
I think ANY slender game that comes out will instantly get bad feedback because of all the crappy slender adaptations that have come out and even the good ones won't get a fair chance.
Don't feed too much into the over the top negative comments. I once participated in a thread where a player was bashing the hell out a particular game. As I was reading and replying, I noticed this player in particular was currently playing the game he dogged on and had 10+ hours invested in it. Sometimes I think people just need attention. lol
