Type "TOGGLEDEBUG" and then type "RESETPREFS".
Make sure to turn off debug by typing "TOGGLEDEBUG" again, because achievements and leaderboards will be disabled with debug turned on.
As for the save file...well, some other players (including me) were already searching and asking for its location but didn't get an answer yet. So no clue where it actually is located.
However,
This is utter nonsense.
Would you kindly tell us the actual filename?
To open regedit, press the windows key and type "regedit" + press enter.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER is the name of folder inside.

However...I went to delete the files, I uninstalled the game, unistalled the non-steam version too and re-installed the game.
My stats and progress are still there. Is there another save file somewhere hidden?
Sorry man, which part is utter nonsense? If you play the game part-way through, turn it off, come back to it later, you appear to have NO option whatsoever to keep your progress. If I'm wrong about this, I would LOVE to hear to the contrary!!! 'Cause if there's one thing I like, indeed expect, from a game, it's the option to save at least once every half hour or so of gameplay. I got up to the Eight Pages chapter, turned off the game, went back in and had to start at the Prologue again...absolutely no option otherwise. If you can tell me how to get around this I'll be more than happy to accept what I have written as nonsense. Believe me, I'll be happy :D
Shame I have that attitude though...this is very nearly an excellent game. Do these indie game designers ever...Lord forbid...get OTHER PEOPLE to play-test their games? So they can get feedback like "Dude, you gotta let people save occasionally, otherwise they'll just give up on your game altogether?" Some of us only want to put on a game for thirty minutes or an hour, save where we are, and go to bed so we can make it to our ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jobs in the morning. We don't HAVE however-many spare hours to play non-stop. Anyway, I suspect I'm wasting my time here, as I'd be surprised if anyone who has anything to do with game design, much less the design of THIS particular game, will be reading my comment. It would be nice, though, wouldn't it? User-friendly games. There's a dream for us all :)
1. The game autosaves your progress everytime you finish a chapter. (which is the only kind of save that makes sense in this game)
2. SOuNDSNC is a developer of this game and he has already replied the thread twice.
There is however, a current bug for some users that does not recognise a level as beaten once you beat it. There is a patch coming for this issue soon.
Thx and cheers to your awesome work, the experience is dreadful ..love it^^
I'm not so sure about this. I attempted to play three times in offline mode and the game never saved my progress. Since I'm offline, disconnected from the net, and furthermore don't have Cloud syncing enabled in Steam, I don't really see how it can be overwriting my local save data. It seems to me more like the game requires Cloud saves and doesn't record your progress at all if it can't (or fails) to connect.
Just watch this and follow ALL the steps
