he's a meme now, and was forever a meme, so it's ♥♥♥♥ and will always be spammed
Well yes, Slenderman just stands there when you're looking at him. But when you're not looking he is rigorously hunting you down the more pages you get and if you increase the difficulty it get's even worse, especially because your flashlight can run out of juice and you have to stumble through the darkness while Slenderman seems to be wherever you try to run.
Imo that's much more stuff of nightmares than the Necromorphs because, as Dead Space shows, you can easily kill them if you have the neccessary weapons. But how are you going to kill Slenderman when he could simply teleport away and drive you mad the closer he gets?
Sure, his presentation could be much more menacing and maybe one of the next Slenderman games will actually accomplish that while also telling an interesting story, but in that regard I find The Arrival good enough.
I think its only appropriate to link this
Stop being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on 4 chan, this is why we can't have nice things, because of people like you.
Y'know, the original slender game was made as a fan game, and only people that knew about him would actually enjoy it. You obviously can't read more than 1 sentence at a time within a 2 hour interval, because you know null about the slenderman legend.
One thing I hate about these games is that it put a good creepy pasta eldritch horror into the spotlight where morons can say "LUL IT NOT SCARY, HE JUS STAND THER, DUUUUR."
And if you'd even read 1 paragrah of ANYTHING that details absolutely ANYTHING about the slenderman lore you'd start to actually learn about him rather than being one of the mass moronic sheep herd this game has created.
