Switching Between Old and New Versions

For those of you who wish to experience the older version on Steam, you will have the ability to switch between the Anniversary Update and the original 2013 version by going to your Steam library and swapping branches.

To do this head to your Steam Library and locate ‘Slender: The Arrival’

Click on the gear located to the left and click on ‘Properties’

A pop-up menu will appear, from here you’re going to click on the tab that says ‘Betas’ and on the right-hand side you’ll see a drop-down menu, click on that and choose an option: either ‘Version2013’ or ‘Version2015’. Each year represents a different version of the game, we wanted to leave them both available.

Once done, Steam will begin to download and install the files for that version of the game.

Follow these same instructions to swap back to the Anniversary Update, by clicking ‘none’ in the drop-down section.
