Serious lag!

When I play this game, even with ALL other windows closed, I get like 9 fps! I've tried turning down the graphics quality, turning fullscreen off, everything! I figured it was the animated trees that my computer couldn't handle. I decided I would get to the house and maybe it would calm down.

But no...

IT GOT WORSE! I was getting 6 fps!

Please fix this, or tell me how to fix this, so I can record a decent let's play on it.

If I could, I would be able to give opinions.

Try running the game lowest resolution, fullscreen. Might help.

I hear it's a very unoptimized game, there may be nothing you can do to fix it :/. Also watch out, threads pointing out this games flaws seem to be promptly locked.
