How to unlock nightmare?

So i played this all the way back when it first came out and decided to give it another go for the nightmare chapter.

When i booted up the game my progression was lost so i started a new game. After i got the the end game, i unlocked the Genesis chapter, but no new one.

Now i just completed Genesis and still nothing... Do i need to do something special?

i see there is an extended chapter in the menu but it's still locked. I tried looking it up online but can't find anything on how to play it.

Anyone can tell me please?

There is a new building in the flashback level after you beat into the abyss.
All progression was lost for everyone because UE5 is being used instead of Unity and the devs couldn't transfer save files from one engine to another.

Np, progression is fairly easy to get back as long as you remember where all the notes were at.
